Lavanda Vera Perennial. Lovely blue flowers. 24" high plant with compact growth habit. Use for drying, crafts, oils. Full Sun. Hardy zones 5-9. Seed slow to germinate (up to 3 weeks). Start inside in pots, set outside at 12-18" spacing. 1 gram packet.
Perennial plant to be sown from March to September. Use the dried flowers to flavour homemade biscuits, with pork and for perfume pouches. Lavender oil can relieve headaches. As a flower is perfect for borders and scented hedge.

Lettuce Romaine (Lactuca sativa L.) (Bag) – Franchi Sementi

Lettuce Bionda Ortolani. A classic romaine lettuce with a large tight head and dark green crunchy leaves. 65 days. Like all romaines, it does best in spring and fall. Can grow in summer for baby lettuce, and even head lettuce in cooler climates. Start from 5-6 week old transplants or direct seed, 2-3 seeds per foot at a row spacing of 12-16 inches. Water well until seeds germinate, thin to the best plant and keep well watered. 7 gram packet.

L5 - This is a mid-early variety that produces large upright head, consistant and of a blond coloured. Leaves have crunchy ribs. This is the classic Romaine lettuce used for making Caesar salads.
