NBMB partnership with USAID
NBMB received support from the Trade and Investment Facilitation (TIF) project, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), to build the capacity of 11 small agro-food businesses in various Lebanese rural areas. With USAID support, and with the aim of facilitating access to new markets and increasing sales, NBMB is offering these businesses a collective, cost-efficient capacity building in marketing, point of sales, organizing market fairs, and preparing distribution strategy to meet quality standards.
The USAID-funded TIF project is a five-year $70-million project aimed at enhancing economic opportunities in Lebanon. The project facilitates trade and investment in a wide range of industrial and business sectors, resulting in job creation and increased incomes for Lebanese citizens, with a strong emphasis on exports, import substitution, and women’s workforce participation.
MadebyNature employs Lebanese university students to deliver each order, supporting the local food system. Their mission is to provide customers with fresh, pesticide-free, and sustainable products sourced from a network of local farmers and producers.
