Camomille - Camomilla. Fragrant yellow flowers are edible. Dry leaves for tea. Low growing plant (4-10") with pretty daisy like flowers. Very hardy perennial; will function as a groundcover. Easy to grow. Scatter seeds, press down (don't cover since they need light to germinate) in early spring.
This Annual plant can be sow from March to June and the flower can be harvest about two months after the sowing. Dried Chamomile flowers are used to make tea. Dry the plant upside down however. Chamomile tea has calming properties.

Cavolo Bruxelles Mezzo Nano (Brussels Sprouts, half long). Open pollinated variety. A tall plant and a good producer of tasty sprouts. Taste improves once frosted. About 110 days. These were featured on the PBS cooking program, Ciao Italia. 6 gram packet, approximately 1,620 seeds. Approximately 270 seeds per gram.

Brussels sprout as we know them were grown as early as the 13th century in Belgium. The first written reference to the, dates to 1587. During the 16th century they enjoyed popularity in Holland and then spread to cooler parts of northern Europe. The bussels sprout is a member of the gemmifera group of cabbages grown for its edible buds. Althought the sprout is related to the cabbage, and even looks like a miniature versionm, they have a sweet, nutty flavour which some people can find bitter. They grow in multiple rows along a thick, central stalk.

Broccoli of Calabria (Bag) – Franchi Sementi

Broccoli of Calabria. Traditional variety from Southern Italy. Compact. Early with a medium-sized head which is 4-5 inches across. Vigorous producer of large side shoots which form after main head is cut. If you let it produce side shoots, space it at 24 inches since the plant gets huge. Nice sweet taste, tender shoots. Good for both spring and fall planting. 55-60 days. 6 gram packet, approximately 1,575 seeds. Approximately 315 seeds per gram.

V12 - Compact and mid sized with several lateral sprouts. Delicate flavour. Smaller florets will grow back after harvesting.
