Turnip, Violet Top from Milan. The most popular turnip in Italy. It has a flat, red/purple top above soil line and a white bottom. The greens are nice also. Excellent, very sweet taste and texture. Grow them year round. 60 days or so. Approx. 5000 seeds, 12 gram packet. Approximately 300-450 seeds per gram.

Camomille - Camomilla. Fragrant yellow flowers are edible. Dry leaves for tea. Low growing plant (4-10") with pretty daisy like flowers. Very hardy perennial; will function as a groundcover. Easy to grow. Scatter seeds, press down (don't cover since they need light to germinate) in early spring.
This Annual plant can be sow from March to June and the flower can be harvest about two months after the sowing. Dried Chamomile flowers are used to make tea. Dry the plant upside down however. Chamomile tea has calming properties.
