Throughout spring, Akkar‚Äö√Ñ√¥s coastal fields in northern Lebanon are rich with a local floral diversity that includes citrus and wild spring flowers. When it crystallizes, this honey is finely-textured and has a sweetness that makes it a popular choice among children and the sweet-toothed. Our Citrus Akkar raw honey has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antiallergy, antispasmodic and immune-supporting properties and, while noted for its energizing effects, also helps reduce insomnia.
