Camomille – Camomilla. Fragrant yellow flowers are edible. Dry leaves for tea. Low growing plant (4-10″) with pretty daisy like flowers. Very hardy perennial; will function as a groundcover. Easy to grow. Scatter seeds, press down (don’t cover since they need light to germinate) in early spring.
This Annual plant can be sow from March to June and the flower can be harvest about two months after the sowing. Dried Chamomile flowers are used to make tea. Dry the plant upside down however. Chamomile tea has calming properties.
