Lollo Bionda (Verde). Solid green version of the classic frilly loose leaf. Great taste, holds well in summer heat. Leaves are light green Harvest outer leaves or cut entire plant. Holds well in fall and will take hard freezes; survives well all winter in the unheated greenhouse. Also works well as a cutting lettuce. 50-55 days. 5 gram packet, approximately 4000 seeds. L16 - This is an early variety with medium sized full open head. The leaves are tender, crunchy and upright with ruffled head. Ideal for growing either as cut and come again or as a head of lettuce.

Italian Oregano. Perennial. Real oregano, not the puny stuff you find in garden centers. Large highly flavored leaves. Sow seeds early in spring, plant out after last frost date. Space at 12 inches. Divide every three years or so. 0.5 gram packet. Approximately 300-400 seeds per packet.
Perennial Plan to be sown from March to September and can be harvest all year round. Origano can be used fresh or dry. The dried leaves are indispensable on Pizza's and Breads. . 1g.

Lettuce Romaine (Lactuca sativa L.) (Bag) – Franchi Sementi

Lettuce Bionda Ortolani. A classic romaine lettuce with a large tight head and dark green crunchy leaves. 65 days. Like all romaines, it does best in spring and fall. Can grow in summer for baby lettuce, and even head lettuce in cooler climates. Start from 5-6 week old transplants or direct seed, 2-3 seeds per foot at a row spacing of 12-16 inches. Water well until seeds germinate, thin to the best plant and keep well watered. 7 gram packet.
*Heritage Variety*
L5 - This is a mid-early variety that produces large upright head, consistant and of a blond coloured. Leaves have crunchy ribs. This is the classic Romaine lettuce used for making Caesar salads.
